Location
This year the MBD is organized at the congress centre of the MECC; Maastricht’s only venue that can host big events such as the MBD in exclusive surroundings. Judge yourself and checkout their website www.mecc.nl. Some of you are probably already familiar with the MECC, as it is the university’s #1 exam location, yet for those who are not we provide a route description:
By bus
Every hour plenty of buses pass the MECC. Bus lines 1, 5, 53, 57 depart frequently from Maastricht’s central train station in the direction of the MECC. For your perfect transit visit www.9292ov.nl.
By train
Maastricht-Randwyck station is located 250 metres from MECC Maastricht. Twice an hour a train leaves from the central station. Check www.9292ov.nl for the exact times.
By car
You will start to see signs for MECC Maastricht as soon as you reach the outskirts of Maastricht. Follow these signs until you reach the MECC car park. If you are travelling south on the A2/E25 motorway (from Amsterdam-Eindhoven), take exit 55 signed for 'Randwyck-MECC'. If you are travelling north on the A2/E25 motorway (from Paris-Liège) take exit 56 signed for 'Gronsveld-MECC'. For your individual itinerary please go to www.routenet.nl. Parking facilities at the Mecc are plenty, follow the signs to P2 or P3. Parking is not for free however!
